- On March 23, the Packers signed Jeff Saturday, a center from the Indianapolis Colts.
- On March 23, they also signed Daniel Muir, a defensive end from the Colts.
- On August 12, running back Cedric Benson joined the team from the Cincinnati Bengals.

- Quarterback Matt Flynn left to play for the Seattle Seahawks.
- Running back Ryan Grant later joined the Washington Redskins.
- Center Scott Wells moved to the St. Louis Rams.
- On April 25, safety Nick Collins left the team due to a neck injury.

- On January 21, offensive coordinator Joe Philbin became the head coach for the Miami Dolphins.
- On February 2, Tom Clements, who coached quarterbacks, was promoted to offensive coordinator for the Packers.
