The knockout stage was the exciting final part of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. It happened after the first round, called the group stage. This part of the tournament began on June 22nd with the Round of 16 matches and finished on July 7th with the big final game. The final was played at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais stadium in Décines-Charpieu, France.

Sixteen teams made it to this stage. These were the top two teams from each of the six groups, plus the four best teams that finished third in their groups. They all competed in a knockout style tournament, meaning if a team lost, they were out! All match times mentioned are local times in France, which is Central European Summer Time (CEST).
