Adelaide Victoria Kane (born August 9, 1990) is an actress and model from Australia. She became known for playing Lolly Allen in the TV show Neighbours. She also played Tenaya 7 in the children's series Power Rangers RPM.
Later, Adelaide starred as Mary, Queen of Scots, in the American drama Reign. She also played Cora Hale in Teen Wolf. You might also know her as Drizella in Once Upon a Time. More recently, she joined the cast of the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

About Adelaide's Early Life
Adelaide Victoria Kane was born on August 9, 1990. Her birthplace was Claremont, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Her father was from Scotland, and her mother is Australian. Her mother has Scottish, Irish, and French family roots.
Adelaide's parents separated when she was seven. She and her younger brother, William, were raised by their mother. Her father moved back to England. Adelaide grew up in Perth and went to St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls.
When she joined the show Neighbours, she and her mother moved to Melbourne. Her brother and stepfather stayed in Perth. She also lived in New Zealand for a short time. This was when she was filming Power Rangers RPM.
In September 2009, when she was 19, Adelaide moved to the United States. She settled in Los Angeles to follow her acting dreams. She has shared that it was tough at first. She faced financial challenges when she first moved there.
Adelaide's Acting Journey
Adelaide Kane started performing when she was just three years old. She began with dance, then moved on to singing and acting.
At age six, she started working professionally. She appeared in print ads and TV commercials. She also worked on different children's TV shows.
Starting with Neighbours
In August 2006, Adelaide was chosen for the TV show Neighbours. She got the role of Lolly Allen after entering a competition. The competition was run by Dolly magazine. She signed a three-month contract for the show. Her friends encouraged her to enter, but she didn't expect to win.
In December 2006, Adelaide announced she would leave the show. Her contract was not renewed. She was nominated for an award in 2008. This was a Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent for her role as Lolly.
Adventures in Power Rangers
From March to December 2009, Kane played Tenaya 7. This was on Power Rangers RPM. It is part of the popular Power Rangers series.
Moving to American TV and Movies
In April 2010, at 19, Kane starred in the TV movie Secrets of the Mountain on NBC. That same year, she was in the Hulu series Pretty Tough. This show had 20 episodes. It was based on a novel with the same name.
Also in 2010, Kane tried out for Cartoon Network's first live-action show. It was called Unnatural History. She hoped to play Maggie Winnock. The role eventually went to another actress, Italia Ricci.
In 2012, Kane played Aubrey in the movie Goats. In November 2012, it was announced that Kane joined Teen Wolf. She played Cora Hale in the series.
In February 2013, Kane was cast as Mary, Queen of Scots. This was for the CW drama series Reign. In the same year, she appeared in the thriller film The Purge.
In 2014, Kane was in the horror film The Devil's Hand. She played a character named Ruth. She first tried out for a different role. But the producers thought she was better suited for Ruth. In 2015, Kane starred in a short thriller film called Realm.
In June 2016, Kane joined the cast of Dragons: Race to the Edge. She voiced Mala, who was the Queen of the Defenders of the Wing.
In July 2017, Kane joined the ABC series Once Upon A Time. She had a recurring role in its seventh season. Kane was one of five actresses to join the show. She played one of the bad guys, Drizella. Drizella was one of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters. Kane's last episode in Once Upon a Time was "Sisterhood".
In September 2019, Kane was announced as part of the cast for Into the Dark. This was for its Halloween episode, Uncanny Annie. It premiered on Hulu the next month. She took coaching sessions to prepare for the role. In October 2019, Kane joined the cast of CBS's SEAL Team.
In March 2020, Kane joined the main cast of the action film Cosmic Sin. In the same month, Kane made a brief appearance in NBC's This Is Us. She played Hailey Damon in the season four finale. Hailey is the adopted daughter of Toby Damon and Kate Pearson.
In the fall of 2022, Adelaide joined Grey's Anatomy in season 19. She plays Dr. Jules Millin. In 2023, she appeared in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. This was in the episode "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow".
Adelaide's Personal Life
Adelaide has spoken about the importance of talking about mental well-being. She has also shared that she has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
