Aislín McGuckin, born in May 1974, is an actress from Northern Ireland. She has acted in plays, TV shows, and movies. Some of her early films include The Nephew and The White Countess. From 2014 to 2015, she played Letitia MacKenzie in the TV series Outlander. In 2020, she was Marianne's mother, Denise, in the BBC miniseries Normal People.

Aislín McGuckin's Early Life
Aislín McGuckin was born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. Her parents are Lorcan and Margaret. She grew up as the oldest of three children. Her family was Catholic and lived in Lurgan, County Armagh.
She went to Sacred Heart Grammar School in Newry. Aislín first planned to study law at university. However, she changed her mind. Instead, she decided to study acting. She earned her acting degree from Rose Bruford College in South East London.
Aislín McGuckin's Personal Life
Aislín McGuckin met actor Aidan McArdle in London. They met while working on a Royal Shakespeare Company play called Richard III. They got married in 2004.
Aislín and Aidan have three children together. Their children are named Mireille, Lorcan, and Senan. In 2015, their family moved to Dublin. Aislín and Aidan divorced in 2019.
