Alan-Michael Cash was born on August 20, 1987. He is an American former professional football player. He played as a defensive tackle in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
He played college football at North Carolina State University. He also went to Varina High School in Richmond, Virginia. Cash played for the Richmond Revolution in the Indoor Football League (IFL). He also played for the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, and Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL.

Early Life and College Football
Alan-Michael Cash was born in Henrico County, Virginia, on August 20, 1987. He attended Varina High School in Henrico, Virginia.
He started playing college football for the NC State Wolfpack in 2005. He was a "redshirt" player that year, meaning he practiced but did not play in games. This allowed him to gain experience without using up a year of his playing eligibility.
From 2006 to 2009, Cash was a four-year letterman. This means he played well enough to earn a special award for his sport. In 2006, his first year playing, he made eight tackles. In 2007, he had 48 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and caught one interception. A sack is when a defensive player tackles the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage.
In 2008, he made 38 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He also forced one fumble and broke up two passes. In his senior year in 2009, he had 55 tackles and two sacks. He also forced another fumble.
Professional Football Career
Richmond Revolution
After college, Cash began his professional career. He played for the Richmond Revolution in the Indoor Football League (IFL) during the 2010 season.
Montreal Alouettes
On May 26, 2011, Cash signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL. He was released shortly after, on June 5, 2011. However, he re-signed with the Alouettes on February 21, 2012. He signed an extension with the team on December 19, 2013. In 2014, he was recognized for his strong play and was named a CFL East Division All-Star.
Toronto Argonauts
Cash later signed with the Toronto Argonauts on March 23, 2017. He played for them for a season. He was released by the team on May 1, 2018.
Edmonton Eskimos
On July 3, 2018, Cash joined the practice roster of the Edmonton Eskimos. A practice roster is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main active roster for games. He was released a few days later, on July 6. He re-signed with their practice roster on October 4, 2018, but was released again on October 6, 2018.
