Alan Ko (Chinese: 柯有倫; pinyin: Kē Yǒulún; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Koa Iú-lûn), also known as Alan Kuo, is a talented singer and actor from Taiwan. He is known for his rock and pop music.

Alan Ko's Journey in Music and Acting

Alan Ko is the son of the famous Taiwanese stuntman and actor, Blackie Ko Shou Liang. Alan has written songs that show his deep feelings for his father. Two of these songs are "Wake Up" and "I Miss You." They explain how much his father influenced him.

Before releasing his first album, Alan worked very hard. He started as a guitarist but didn't have much experience writing songs. In 1999, he joined Alpha Music. There, he worked as a host for a while.

Later, he became friends with the famous musician Jay Chou. Jay Chou encouraged Alan to write his own songs. He told Alan that writing his own music would make people want to listen. This advice inspired Alan to become a lyricist, someone who writes song lyrics.

Alan started writing songs in many styles. These included R&B, rock music, rap, and pop music. His music director made him work on his songs constantly. Alan kept pushing himself to make his music perfect. After six years of hard work, he chose 12 of his best songs for his first album.

Alan's father passed away in 2003 due to an accident. This sad event did not stop Alan from following his dreams. His father had told him to succeed and not let him down. Alan released his first album on August 19, 2005. It had 12 songs and received a lot of support from famous Hong Kong singer and actor, Jacky Cheung. Since then, Alan Ko has appeared in many TV shows and movies.
