Alyz Sabimar Henrich Ocando, born on October 19, 1991, is a Venezuelan model and former beauty queen. She also works as an environmentalist and helps people.
Alyz represented Falcón state in the Miss Venezuela 2012 contest. There, she won the title of Miss Venezuela Earth. On December 7, 2013, Alyz won the Miss Earth 2013 crown in the Philippines. She was the second person from Venezuela to win Miss Earth. The first was Alexandra Braun.
Later, Alyz became the head of the Miss Earth Venezuela Organization. When Alyz won Miss Earth, Venezuela became the first country to win all four major international beauty pageants more than once.

About Alyz Henrich
Early Life and Career
Alyz Henrich was born in Punto Fijo, a city in western Venezuela. She started in beauty pageants by joining local carnival events. She also took part in the "Melon Fair" in her home area, the Paraguana Peninsula.
When she was 16, Alyz moved to Italy to work as a model. After coming back to Venezuela, she lived in Maracaibo. There, she taught people how to walk like models. Alyz has a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín. She speaks Spanish, Italian, and English.
Miss Venezuela 2012 Contest
Alyz represented the state of Falcón in the Miss Venezuela 2012 pageant. She competed against 23 other young women from different parts of Venezuela. Alyz won the title of Miss Earth Venezuela. This allowed her to represent Venezuela in the Miss Earth 2013 contest.
Alyz was the first person from Falcón to reach the final round of Miss Venezuela. She also won an international representation title. During the final night, she received the "Miss Integral" award.
Winning Miss Earth 2013
As Miss Earth Venezuela, Alyz represented her country in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant. The final event took place on December 7 at the Palace of Versailles in Manila, Philippines. Alyz competed with 88 other contestants from various countries.
At the end of the night, Alyz was crowned the new Miss Earth. This was the second time a Venezuelan beauty queen won this title.
Alyz's environmental goal for Venezuela was to help clean up trash in the Los Roques archipelago. She wanted to keep the waters around these islands clean. She said she had been doing this since she was twelve years old.
Alyz's journey in Miss Earth Venezuela was very successful. She won many awards before the final night from sponsors and the pageant organizers. She was also the first Miss Earth winner to win the "Best Evening Gown" award.
United Nations Youth Conference
Alyz Henrich was a special guest at the United Nations Youth Conference for Environment and Biodiversity. This event happened in Hurghada, Egypt, from March 7 to 11. She gave a speech during the opening ceremony of the conference.
On March 7, Alyz was the host for the Global Village Festival with kids. This event took place at the Berlin University in El Gouna. She talked with delegates, sponsors, and the international press. They discussed the environment, culture, marine life, and her experiences as Miss Earth.
On March 10, Alyz led a workshop for kids about waste and recycling. This workshop was held in Abo Monkar, a protected island in the Red Sea. She worked with Vodafone and HEPECA for this event.
