Amod Lloyd Field, born on October 11, 1967, is a former American professional football player. He played for the Phoenix Cardinals in the National Football League (NFL) for one season. Amod also played college football at Montclair State University. His career included time in the Canadian Football League with the BC Lions. He also played in the Arena Football League (AFL) for several teams. These teams included the Tampa Bay Storm, Massachusetts Marauders, and San Jose SaberCats.

Amod Lloyd Field was born on October 11, 1967. His hometown is Passaic, New Jersey. He attended Passaic High School in Passaic.

College Sports Career

Field was a key player for the Montclair State Red Hawks football team. He played from 1985 to 1989. During his time there, he caught 108 passes. He gained 1,941 yards and scored 24 touchdowns.

Track and Field Achievements

Besides football, Amod was also a talented track and field athlete. He competed for Montclair State. He won the outdoor NCAA Division III title in the 400 meter hurdles twice. He was named a Division III track and field All-American eight times.

Basketball Skills

Field also played basketball for one year. He led his team in points per game with 15.4. He also averaged almost five rebounds per game. In 2000, he was honored for his achievements. He was inducted into the Montclair State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Professional Football Journey
