Angourie Isabel Teresa Rice (born 1 January 2001) is an Australian actress. She started acting when she was young. She became well-known for her roles in These Final Hours (2013) and The Nice Guys (2016).
Angourie played Betty Brant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You can see her in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). She won an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her main part in Ladies in Black (2018). In 2024, she played Cady Heron in the musical movie Mean Girls.
Angourie has also been in TV shows. These include the Black Mirror episode "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" (2019) and the HBO series Mare of Easttown (2021). She also starred in the Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me (2023).

Angourie Rice was born in Sydney, Australia. Her name comes from Angourie, New South Wales, where her grandmother lived. Her dad, Jeremy Rice, is a director, and her mom, Kate Rice, is a writer.
She lived in Perth for five years and in Munich, Germany, for one year. After that, her family moved to Melbourne. She finished high school in 2018. Because she became a successful actress, she could not attend university.

Angourie began her acting career in Perth, Australia. She appeared in several short films and Australian TV shows. In 2012, at just eleven years old, she got a main role in the short film Transmission. She won an award for Best Actress at the St Kilda Short Film Festival for this role.

In 2013, Angourie made her first movie appearance in These Final Hours. This was a thriller about the end of the world. She also appeared in the live-action parts of the animated movie Walking with Dinosaurs.
In 2014, she was in the TV series The Doctor Blake Mysteries and Worst Year of My Life Again. She also appeared in Mako: Island of Secrets in 2015.
Breakthrough Roles
In 2016, Angourie had a big role as Holly March in the action-comedy movie The Nice Guys. She acted alongside famous actors Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. She also played Tegan, a supernatural villain, in the science-fiction movie Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows.
