Early Life and Education
Annie Parisse was born in Anchorage, Alaska. Her mother was a teacher, and her father worked for an airline. Annie has a brother named Louis, who is also an actor.
She grew up in Mercer Island, Washington, and went to Mercer Island High School. When Annie was 18, she moved to New York City. She attended Fordham University, where she studied theater. While at college, she acted in many plays, often playing the main character.

Television and Film Roles
Annie started her TV career on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. She played Julia Snyder from 1998 to 2001 and came back for a few episodes in 2002. Her acting earned her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2001.
Early on, Annie also made guest appearances on shows like Friends. She even appeared on Law & Order in 2002 before joining the main cast later on.
She has also been in several movies. In 2003, she was in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She also had a small role in the 2004 adventure movie National Treasure, playing Agent Dawes. In 2005, she appeared in the movie Monster-in-Law.
From 2005 to 2006, Annie was a main cast member on Law & Order. She played Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Borgia. Her character's story ended when she was murdered in the season finale.
Later, Annie took on the role of Lena Riggi Basilone in the 2010 war drama The Pacific. She also had a recurring role as Kara Stanton on the CBS show Person of Interest. In 2013, she joined the Fox series The Following as an FBI specialist. More recently, she appeared in the HBO series Vinyl in 2016 and the Netflix series Friends from College from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, she acted alongside Al Pacino in the film Paterno.
