Anthony Scaramucci (born January 6, 1964) is an American businessman and TV personality. He worked in finance for many years. He also briefly served as the White House Communications Director in 2017.

Scaramucci worked at Goldman Sachs, a big investment bank, from 1989 to 1996. After that, he started his own companies. In 2005, he founded SkyBridge Capital, an investment firm.

In July 2017, Scaramucci was chosen to be the White House Communications Director. This job involves managing how the President's message is shared with the public. He was in this role for only ten days. President Donald Trump dismissed him at the suggestion of the new White House Chief of Staff, John F. Kelly. Since then, Scaramucci has shared his opinions about Trump in the media. He supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the 2020 and 2024 elections.

Early Life and Education

Anthony Scaramucci was born on January 6, 1964. He grew up in Port Washington, New York. His family has Italian-American roots. His father, Alexander Scaramucci, worked as a crane operator.

Anthony was the first in his family to go to college. He graduated from Paul D. Schreiber Senior High School in 1982. He was even the student council president there. Career in Finance

SkyBridge Capital

In 2015, Scaramucci criticized Donald Trump on TV. He called Trump a "hack politician" and said his words were "anti-American." He also disagreed with Trump's ideas about a border wall.

However, in May 2016, Scaramucci joined Trump's campaign finance team. In November 2016, he became part of Trump's team that helped prepare for the presidency.

White House Communications Director Role
