Antoine Arnault (born 4 June 1977) is a French businessman. He is the vice-chairman and CEO of Christian Dior SE. Antoine is the eldest son of Bernard Arnault, who leads LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. His family is known as one of the wealthiest in the world.

Early Life and School

Antoine Arnault was born in Roubaix, France. His parents are Bernard Arnault and Anne Dewavrin. He went to two well-known business schools. He studied at HEC Montréal and also at INSEAD.

Antoine Arnault's Career

Antoine Arnault began his career at Louis Vuitton. He worked in the advertising part of the company. In 2005, he joined the company's board of directors. By 2007, he became the director of communications.

In 2012, Antoine Arnault created a special project. It was called the "Core Values" campaign. This campaign featured famous people from different fields. Some of them were political leaders like Mikhail Gorbachev. Famous athletes like Muhammad Ali and Zinedine Zidane also took part. Even celebrities such as Sean Connery and Keith Richards were involved.

In 2008, he joined a committee for a big French newspaper. This newspaper is called Les Echos. The next year, in 2009, he was recognized as a Young Global Leader.

In 2011, Antoine Arnault started "LVMH Special Days." This event aimed to show the public the skills of the LVMH group. In 2013, he held the event again. He opened even more workshops to the public, reaching 42 in total. The goal was to show how skilled craftspeople pass their knowledge to new generations.

Leading Berluti (2011–2023)

From 2011 to 2023, Antoine Arnault was the CEO of Berluti. Berluti is a luxury brand owned by LVMH. He worked to help the brand grow. He opened new stores in places like California, Dubai, and New York City.

He hired a designer named Alessandro Sartori. The goal was to make Berluti more than just a shoe company. They wanted it to become a full menswear luxury brand. Antoine Arnault invested a lot of money to develop Berluti. He focused on their colorful shoes and classic modern clothes.

Under his leadership, Berluti's sales grew a lot. In just three years, sales went from about $45 million to around $130 million each year. In 2013, he also became the chairman of Loro Piana. This company is a world leader in high-quality cashmere and other fabrics. LVMH had bought Loro Piana.

Antoine Arnault often spoke about the future of the luxury industry. In 2015, he talked about how people use digital tools every day. He said this encourages luxury brands to connect with customers through technology. However, he also stressed that luxury items should last a long time. He believes they should offer a special physical experience. He shared these ideas in a speech at Stanford University in 2004.

Leading Christian Dior SE (2022–Present)

In December 2022, Antoine Arnault was named the chief executive of Christian Dior SE. This company is a family holding company. He took over this role from Sidney Toledano.

Other Activities

Antoine Arnault is on the board of directors for LVMH. He has also been a board member of the Comité Colbert since November 2012. Since November 2013, he has been a board member at Madrigall. Madrigall is a company that controls the French publisher Gallimard.

Personal Life

Antoine Arnault is the younger brother of Delphine Arnault. He also has three half-brothers. They are from his father's second marriage to the pianist Hélène Mercier. Antoine Arnault enjoys modern art.

He met the Russian model and helper Natalia Vodianova in 2011. They have two sons together. Their sons were born in 2014 and 2016. Natalia announced their engagement on December 31, 2019. They had planned a wedding for June 27, 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused it to be canceled. Instead, they officially got married on June 21, 2020, at a Paris registry office.
