Antonio Sabàto Jr. (born February 29, 1972) is an American actor and model. He was born in Italy and became famous in the 1990s. He was known for being an underwear model for Calvin Klein and for his role as Jagger Cates on the TV show General Hospital.
Later in his career, he appeared in many TV shows and movies. Sabàto also entered politics. He ran for the United States Congress as a Republican in 2018 but did not win the election.

Early Life
Sabàto was born in Rome, Italy, on February 29, 1972. This date is special because it's a Leap Day, which only happens every four years. His father, Antonio Sabàto Sr., was a famous movie star from Italy. His mother, Yvonne, was from Prague.
In 1985, Sabàto and his family moved from Italy to the United States. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1996. He went to high school at Palisades Charter High School in Los Angeles, California.
Career
Modeling and Early Fame
Sabàto started his career as a model. He became very well known in 1996 when he modeled for Calvin Klein underwear.
Before that, in 1990, he appeared in a music video for Janet Jackson's song "Love Will Never Do (Without You)". He was in the video with another future star, actor Djimon Hounsou.
Acting on TV and in Movies
From 1992 to 1995, Sabàto acted on the popular TV soap opera General Hospital. This role made him a familiar face to many Americans. He also starred in the science fiction show Earth 2 and the drama Melrose Place.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he acted in many TV movies and other films. He had a supporting role in the 1998 movie The Big Hit. From 2005 to 2006, he returned to soap operas, playing Dante Damiano on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2008, he played his old character Jagger Cates again in General Hospital: Night Shift.
He has also made guest appearances on shows like Bones and The League. Sabàto has started his own film studio, Trail Blazers Pictures, to create movies.
Reality TV and Other Work
Sabàto has also been on several reality TV shows. In 2005, he was on But Can They Sing?, a show where celebrities competed in a singing contest. In 2008, he won the competition show Celebrity Circus. He shared on the show that his mother and grandfather were circus performers.
In 2012, he and his family were on the show Celebrity Wife Swap. In 2014, he competed on season 19 of Dancing with the Stars with his professional dance partner, Cheryl Burke. They finished in 8th place.
From 2014 to 2016, he hosted a home renovation show called Fix It & Finish It.
Politics
Sabàto became involved in politics as a member of the Republican party. In 2018, he ran for a seat in the United States House of Representatives for California's 26th district. He ran against the current congresswoman, Julia Brownley, but he lost the election.
Sabàto has shared his political views on several topics. He supported building a wall on the U.S. southern border. He has also been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, and he spoke at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Sabàto has said that he believes his support for President Trump made it difficult for him to find acting jobs in Hollywood. He has also made controversial statements about former President Barack Obama, including questioning his religion.
Personal Life
Sabàto has been married twice. He has three children: a son from his relationship with actress Virginia Madsen, a daughter with Kristin Rossetti Biasi, and a son with his second wife, Cheryl Nunes.

In 2018, Sabàto announced he was moving his family out of California. In 2020, he moved to Florida, where he now works for a construction company.
