Ardentown is a small village located in New Castle County, Delaware, in the United States. In 2010, about 264 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 255.
The village was started in 1922 by Donald Stephens. It grew out of a nearby community called Arden. Ardentown was created with special ideas about how people should live. These ideas came from Henry George's "Single Tax" movement and William Morris's "Arts and Crafts" movement. Donald Stephens was the son of Frank Stephens, who founded Arden.

Getting Around: Transportation
There are no major state highways that go directly through Ardentown. However, Delaware Route 3 (also known as Marsh Road) runs close by to the west. This road can take you south towards Wilmington or north towards Claymont.
Another road, Harvey Road, runs along the southwest edge of Ardentown. It connects to Interstate 95, a big highway. You can get onto southbound I-95 from Harvey Road to go towards Wilmington. You can also get off northbound I-95 from Wilmington onto Harvey Road.
For public transportation, DART First State offers bus service in Ardentown. Route 11 can take you to the Wilmington train station. From there, you can catch Amtrak trains or SEPTA Regional Rail trains on the Wilmington/Newark Line.
