Arenal Volcano National Park is a special nature park in the northwest of Costa Rica. It sits between the Tilarán Mountain Range and the Plains of San Carlos. Part of this park is in the area of San Ramón.

The Amazing Arenal Volcano
The most important part of this national park is the Arenal Volcano. It looks like a nearly perfect cone. This volcano is 1,633 meters tall. Arenal Volcano often has small eruptions. These eruptions create a truly amazing natural view in Costa Rica.
