Bamm-Bamm's Story
Bamm-Bamm became the adopted son of Betty and Barney Rubble. They found him left on their doorstep. Soon after, he met his next-door neighbor, Pebbles Flintstone, and they became very close.
His "nickname" came from a note in his basket. Barney and Betty were confused by the strange name. But then Bamm-Bamm yelled "Bamm, Bamm!" and swung his club. This showed where his name came from! Bamm-Bamm has amazing strength, which often leads to funny moments in the show. He was also a bit older than Pebbles and sometimes tried to help her learn to walk.
As a Teenager
When Bamm-Bamm was a teenager, he went to Bedrock High School with Pebbles. His super strength was still there, but it wasn't shown as much. He became more calm and sensible. Pebbles often had a stronger personality than him. He also owned a "cave buggy," which was like a prehistoric dune buggy.
As an Adult
As an adult, Bamm-Bamm became a mechanic. He and Pebbles got married. They moved to Hollyrock, which is a prehistoric version of Hollywood. Bamm-Bamm wanted to become a screenwriter there. Later, they had twins named Chip and Roxy.
Bamm-Bamm in Movies

In The Flintstones live-action movie from 1994, Bamm-Bamm is four years old. Fred Flintstone secretly gave money to Barney and Betty so they could adopt him. At first, Bamm-Bamm had long, messy hair and only wore a leaf. It was said that wild mastodons raised him, which explains his incredible strength. After a bath, a haircut, and new clothes, Bamm-Bamm looked like his cartoon self. Twin actors Hlynur Sigurðsson and Marinó Sigurðsson played Bamm-Bamm. Actress E.G. Daily did his voice.
Bamm-Bamm also appears with his family in the movie Space Jam: A New Legacy. He and his family watch a big basketball game. You can see Fred Flintstone picking Bamm-Bamm up as they head to the game.
