How the Show Was Made
The idea for Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs started way back in 2016. The show was officially announced in May 2018. The plan was for it to be released in 2019.
In August 2018, a rough animated version, called an animatic, was shared online. Later, in September 2018, an episode called The Grass Is Always Dinner was part of a survey. This episode was then shared on different websites. Some people who saw it felt the story and jokes weren't very good. They thought it tried too hard to be cool for kids.
The show was planned to have two seasons. However, in December 2018, a character designer named Will Terrell shared that the show would not get a second season. This news came about a year before the first season even aired!
