Baraga State Park is a fun place for outdoor adventures! It's a public park that covers about 56 acres (23 ha) (that's like 42 football fields!) right on the edge of Lake Superior. Specifically, it's located on Keweenaw Bay in Baraga County, Michigan.
You can find this awesome state park along Route 41, just south of the small village of Baraga. The park, the village, and the whole county are named after a special person: Bishop Frederic Baraga. He was an important missionary who lived in this area a long time ago.
