The Bardiya National Park (Nepali: बर्दिया राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज) is a special protected area in Nepal. It was created in 1988 to protect nature and wildlife. This park covers about 968 square kilometers (374 square miles). Most of this large area is covered by thick forests.
