Bayamón Fútbol Club is a professional football (soccer) team from Puerto Rico. They are based in Bayamón and started in 1999. Their home games are played at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. The club is also part of David Villa's DV7 Soccer Academy, which helps young players learn and grow.

Team History
Early Years (1999–2005)
Bayamón FC started in 1999. They quickly became a strong team in the Liga Mayor de Fútbol Nacional. They won championships in 2000 and 2002, and also placed second and third in other years. The team took a break from 2006 to 2008.
Return to Play (2009–2013)
In 2009, Bayamón FC joined the first Puerto Rico Soccer League season. They finished second in the regular season and then won the playoff championship!
The team did not play in the Puerto Rico Soccer League in 2010 and 2011. Instead, they played in the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico, where they won championships in both 2010 and 2011.
New Challenges (2014)
In 2014, the team was briefly called Puerto Rico BFC. They won matches in the 2014 CFU Club Championship, which helped them qualify for the 2014–15 CONCACAF Champions League. This was a big step for the club!
Partnering with David Villa (2016)
In January 2016, Bayamón FC teamed up with famous Spanish football star David Villa. Bayamón FC became the very first academy in Villa's DV7 program, which aims to build soccer academies around the world. Later that year, Delfín Ferreres joined as a coach, and the team won the PRSL Clausura 2016 Tournament.
Recent Seasons (2018–Present)
In 2018, Marco Vélez became the Head Coach. Bayamón FC won the Puerto Rican Football Federation Preparatory Tournament that year.
In August 2018, Bayamón FC joined the new Liga Puerto Rico. They finished as runners-up in the league but won the Copa Luis Villarejo cup by beating Metropolitan FA 4-2 in the final.
In July 2019, Delfí Ferreres returned as the team's coach.
In March 2021, Bayamón FC announced a partnership with Queensboro FC, a professional team from the USL Championship in the United States. In December 2021, Bayamón FC became champions of the 2021 Liga Puerto Rico by winning 2-1 against Metropolitan FA in the final.
International Games
Bayamón FC has played in several international tournaments, representing Puerto Rico.
Caribbean Club Championship
- 2010: Bayamón FC played in the 2010 CFU Club Championship. They had Costa Rica player Kendall Waston on their team. They did very well, reaching the Final Round and even beating local champions Joe Public FC 3-1.
- 2012: After winning the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico, Bayamón played in the 2012 CFU Club Championship in Haiti.
- 2013: For the 2013 CFU Club Championship, Bayamón FC signed legendary Costa Rican player Walter Centeno. They played in Jamaica.
- 2014: Bayamón returned to the CFU Club Championship in 2014 and hosted their group matches. They won their group and qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League for the first time!
CONCACAF Champions League (2014)
In 2014, Bayamón FC made history by playing in the 2014–15 CONCACAF Champions League. They were the second team from Puerto Rico to reach this major tournament. They played against famous teams like Club América from Mexico and Comunicaciones from Guatemala.
Caribbean Club Shield (2022)
After winning the 2021 Liga Puerto Rico, Bayamón FC hosted the 2022 Caribbean Club Shield in Puerto Rico. They were crowned champions of the tournament in April 2022, defeating Inter Moengotapoe 2-1 in the final.
Home Stadium
Bayamón FC plays their matches at the Bayamón Soccer Complex. The club has been in charge of managing these facilities since 2009.

Bayamón FC Women's Team
Bayamón FC also has a women's team called Bayamón FC Femenino. They play their home games at the Bayamón Soccer Complex.
Women's Team History
The women's team started in 2010. They became one of the best teams in Puerto Rico, winning many tournaments in the Liga Superior Femenina between 2012 and 2016.
In July 2018, Bayamón FC women's team won the Offside Magazine Cup. They also played in the first season of the Liga Puerto Rico in 2018–19, winning their first game 5–0.
In 2019, Bayamón FC women's team won the 2019 Copa Luis Villarejo by defeating SPADI FC 2-1 in the final. Fernando Reyes became their Head Coach for the 2019-20 season, and star player Karina Socarrás rejoined the team.

Youth Academy
Bayamón FC has a large youth academy with 28 teams! This includes teams for women, senior team development, and many boys' and girls' youth teams. With over 500 registered players, Bayamón FC is the biggest football club in Puerto Rico.
