Beaux Arts (pronounced bow-z arts) is a small town in King County, Washington, United States. It's located on the "Eastside" of the county, which is a region east of Lake Washington. It is the smallest town in King County.
In 2020, about 317 people lived there. The town is quite small, with a land area of only about 0.1 square miles. Beaux Arts is a suburb of bigger cities like Seattle and Bellevue. It is known as one of the wealthiest areas in the region.

History of Beaux Arts Village
Beaux Arts Village was started in 1908. It began as a special place for artists to live and work together, called an "artists' colony." The town got its name from the Western Academy of Beaux Arts, which was a group its founders belonged to.
Back then, you could become a member of the Academy for $200. Today, if you buy a home in Beaux Arts Village, you automatically become a member of the Academy. The town officially became a recognized town in 1954.
Geography and Location
Beaux Arts Village is found on the eastern side of Lake Washington. It is just north of Interstate 90, a major highway. The city of Bellevue surrounds Beaux Arts Village on its north, east, and south sides. Lake Washington is to its west.
This small town doesn't have a special building for a town hall. Instead, official town meetings happen in people's homes. These meetings are always open for anyone to attend.
The town covers a total area of about 0.17 square miles. About 0.09 square miles of this is land, and 0.08 square miles is water.
A unique feature of Beaux Arts Village is its shoreline. The entire beach area along Lake Washington is owned by the Western Academy of Beaux Arts. This means only people who live in the town and their guests can use the beach.
