A Glimpse into Bee's Past
Bee has a bit of history! It was first called Bergen. For a while, from 1891 to 1905, Bee even had its own post office.
In the past, Bee was a busy little hub. It had a flour mill, where grain was ground into flour. There was also a store where people could buy supplies. A creamery was also present, likely for making butter or cheese. Plus, it had a station on the old Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad, which means trains used to stop there!
