Bellville is a small city located in Evans County, Georgia, in the United States. In 2020, about 127 people lived there. It is known as the hometown of film director James Kicklighter.

History of Bellville
Bellville started around 1890. This was when a railroad line reached the area. The city officially became a city in 1959. Hines Daniel was its first mayor.
Where is Bellville Located?
Bellville is in the western part of Evans County. It is located along a main road called U.S. Route 280. This road connects Bellville to other nearby towns. For example, it is about 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Claxton. Claxton is the main town of the county. Bellville is also about 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Reidsville.
Other state roads also pass through Bellville. Georgia State Route 292 goes through the center of town. It leads west to Collins. Georgia State Route 169 also crosses GA 292 in the middle of Bellville.
The city covers a total area of about 1.01 square miles (2.62 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a small part, about 0.03 square miles (0.07 square kilometers), is water.
