Bembos is a popular Peruvian fast food chain. It is famous for its delicious hamburgers. Many of their burgers have special Peruvian flavors.
Bembos first opened its doors in 1988. The very first restaurant was in the Miraflores area of Lima, Peru. Bembos adds unique spices to its meat. This gives their burgers a special taste and look. Just like many other restaurants in Peru, Bembos also serves ají. This is a tasty sauce made from peppers. You can get it on the side with your meal.
Most Bembos meals come with hot chips (french fries). You can also choose yuquitas, which are made from yuca root. Bembos has many locations all over the Lima area. Some even have two floors! They also offer home delivery, so you can enjoy their food at home.
Bembos Slogans
Companies often use short phrases called slogans. These help people remember the brand. Bembos has used a few catchy slogans over the years:
- "La mejor hamburguesa y más" (This means "The best burger and more")
- "Como Bembos no hay otra" (This means "There's nothing like Bembos")
- "Definitivamente vas a volver" (This means "Definitely you are going to come back")
Where Can You Find Bembos?
Bembos has many restaurants across Peru. There are 35 stores in 6 different cities. Most of these are in Lima.
In July 2007, Bembos opened a restaurant in the city of Cusco. This was a big step! It became the first Peruvian or international fast food place in Cusco.
Here are some of the cities where you can find Bembos:
- Lima: You can find many Bembos restaurants here. Some areas with stores include Miraflores, San Isidro, and Surco.
- Callao: There are also Bembos stores in Callao and Bellavista.
- Cañete: You can find one in the Asia District.
- Arequipa: There are stores in Yanahuara and Paucarpata.
- Piura: You can visit a Bembos in Piura District.
- Chiclayo: There is a store in Chiclayo District.
- Cusco: You can find Bembos in Plaza de Armas and Real Plaza.
- Trujillo: There are stores in Mall Aventura Plaza and Real Plaza.
- Cajamarca: You can find Bembos in El Quinde Shopping Plaza and Real Plaza.
Bembos has also started to open restaurants outside of Peru. They now have two restaurants in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, India.
In March 2011, a Peruvian company called Interbank bought Bembos.
