Big Beaver is a small town, also called a borough, in northern Beaver County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,852 people lived there.

Big Beaver is part of the larger Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The area was first set up as Big Beaver Township in 1802. It became an official borough in 1958.

Big Beaver is located at coordinates 40.822723 degrees North and -80.369682 degrees West. It is about 34 miles from Pittsburgh if you fly straight there. By road, it is about 44 miles away.

Big Beaver Borough has several small streams. These streams flow into the Beaver River on the east side. Some of these streams include Stockman Run, Clarks Run, and Wallace Run. On the west side, streams flow into North Fork Little Beaver Creek.

Big Beaver shares its borders with nine other towns and areas. To the north is New Beaver. To the northeast is Koppel. North Sewickley Township is to the east.

To the southeast, you'll find Beaver Falls. West Mayfield is to the south-southeast. Chippewa Township is to the south. To the west are Darlington Township and New Galilee. The town of Homewood is completely surrounded by Big Beaver.
