Big Scoob's Music Journey
Starting Out in Music
Big Scoob began his music career in the late 1990s. He formed a group called the 57th Street Rogue Dog Villians. Other members included Tech N9ne, Bakarri, and Txx Will. This group released several albums. After a while, Big Scoob took a break from music. He wanted to focus on raising his daughters.
Returning to Music
After some time away, Big Scoob decided to return to music. His friend, Tech N9ne, encouraged him to come back. On February 7, 2009, it was announced that Big Scoob had joined Strange Music. This is an independent record label owned by Tech N9ne.
His Albums and EPs
On September 15, 2009, Big Scoob released his first album. It was called Monsterifik. This album was presented by Tech N9ne. It was the second album to have this special introduction. The album did well, reaching number 67 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Big Scoob released another album, ... Fool, on May 3, 2011. This album also did well on the charts. It reached number 49 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It also hit number 24 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart.
On September 20, 2011, Big Scoob released an EP (Extended Play) called No Filter. An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs.
Later, Big Scoob shared that he was working on a new album. He felt his previous albums had too many outside influences. He wanted his new music to be even better. He still appears on other rappers' albums, including those by Tech N9ne.
