William Kopp (born April 17, 1962) is an American artist who works in animation. He is also a talented writer and a voice actor. He has helped create many cartoons and movies you might know!

Bill Kopp's Career in Animation
Bill Kopp studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts, a famous school for artists. He won two awards early in his career for his animated films. In 1984, he received a Merit Award from the Student Academy Awards for his film Mr. Gloom. The next year, in 1985, he won a Student Academy Award for another film called Observational Hazard.
Kopp became well-known for animating the "Whammy" characters on the 1980s game show Press Your Luck. He also lent his voice to many cartoon characters. He was the voice of the main character, Eek, on Fox's cartoon Eek! The Cat. He also voiced Klutter in The Terrible Thunderlizards, a show he helped create with Savage Steve Holland. Later, he voiced the famous cat Tom in the Tom and Jerry movies Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars and Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry.
Bill Kopp also worked as an animator for the very first animated shorts of The Simpsons on The Tracey Ullman Show. He helped create the early look of the Simpson family.
He is the creator of other cartoon shows like The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show and Mad Jack the Pirate. For Toonsylvania, he worked as an executive producer and writer. He also produced and directed many Tom and Jerry cartoons. He helped write the stories for three Roger Rabbit Shorts: Tummy Trouble, Roller Coaster Rabbit, and Trail Mix-Up. He was also the writer, director, and co-producer for the final episode of Tales from the Crypt, which was called "The Third Pig."
More recently, Bill Kopp directed most of the episodes for The Twisted Whiskers Show. He is also a regular voice actor on Cartoon Network's show Mighty Magiswords, where he voices a character called Man Fish the Fish Man.
Bill Kopp lives in California today.
