William David Lowery (born May 2, 1947) is an American politician. He also works as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C.. As a member of the Republican Party, he served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. This is part of the United States Congress. He represented California from 1981 to 1993.

Early Life and Politics

Bill Lowery was born on May 2, 1947. His hometown is San Diego, California. He went to San Diego State University. His father owned a hardware store. When Bill was nine, his father passed away. His mother worked hard to care for the family.

Bill became active in politics early on. He was involved in student politics in college. He worked for President Ford's campaign. He also helped the California Republican Party.

Serving San Diego
