Bille Woodruff is a talented director who creates films, TV shows, and music videos. He is well-known for directing many music videos for popular R&B and hip-hop artists since the mid-1990s.

He has worked a lot with singers like Joe, directing 9 of his music videos since 1994. He also worked with Toni Braxton 10 times since 1996. Bille Woodruff directed some of Toni Braxton's biggest hit songs, including "Un-Break My Heart", "You're Makin' Me High", and "He Wasn't Man Enough".

In 2003, Woodruff directed the movie Honey. This film starred Jessica Alba as a hip-hop dancer and choreographer. There were rumors that the singer Aaliyah was supposed to be in the movie, but Bille Woodruff said that Beyoncé was actually the first choice. However, Beyoncé couldn't do it because she was busy touring for her first album.

Honey was released on December 5, 2003. It did very well at the box office, earning over $12 million in its first weekend. While some movie critics didn't love it, audiences really enjoyed the film.

Woodruff then directed Beauty Shop in 2005. This movie was a spin-off from the Barbershop film series and starred Queen Latifah. It earned over $37 million worldwide. Like Honey, critics had mixed feelings, but moviegoers generally liked it.

He also directed Bring It On: Fight to the Finish in 2009, which starred Christina Milian. This movie was released directly to DVD. He later directed Honey 2 in 2011, which was a sequel to his earlier film.
