Blacka Di Danca is a talented artist, dancer, and choreographer. He is known around the world for his amazing dance moves. He has traveled to over 40 countries and 100 cities. These include places in South America, Canada, Europe, and Russia.

Blacka also works on new music and creates clothing for his brand, Danca. He runs a company called Danca Media and a music label called Danca Music Group.

Blacka was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 16, 1989. He grew up in a Caribbean family. This meant he learned to dance from a very young age. In Caribbean culture, families often teach children to dance as they learn to walk.

He was always surrounded by music like Reggae, Calypso, Soca, and Dancehall. This connection to his heritage has always been a big source of strength for him.

Growing up in New York, Blacka loved art. He spent a lot of time sketching and painting. In elementary school, he took African dance classes. These classes made him love dance even more. Later, he studied art history, which inspired his creative work. He also practiced karate and martial arts, which helped him learn more about movement.

Blacka's love for art led him to audition for the Brooklyn High School of the Arts. This school helped him learn even more about art and creativity. It helped him express himself through his art.

In 2002, Blacka started exploring Brooklyn's busy dancehall scene. He wanted to learn everything about this dance style. He would travel across the city every night to attend dance events. It became his goal to become one of the best dancehall dancers.

Blacka started learning about music and performing with the group New Kingston. One night, he stayed after a show and experienced his first dancehall party. This changed his life. He realized dancing was what he wanted to do. He saw dancers doing the same moves in matching outfits, like synchronized swimming.

After this, Blacka reached out to his friend JC Smoove, who was also a dancer. He started training with Smoove. He learned Passa Passa dances by watching DVDs of Jamaican dancehall events.

Dancing became a daily habit for Blacka. He went to many clubs, like Temptations on Church Avenue. He learned from dance crews like Crazy Hype Family and Active Dancers. As he became more known, New Kingston started asking him to be their official dancer at events. This helped launch Blacka Di Danca's career.

As Blacka continued dancing, he overcame his stage fright. Opportunities started to come his way. One of his first big moments was winning a dance competition at the Binghamton University Carnival. He performed with his friend DJ AK and won first place.

Blacka spent a lot of time learning about dancehall culture. He truly lived and breathed it in Brooklyn. For him, loving dancehall also meant understanding the people, food, and sounds. In 2007, he got his first booking to perform in Virginia.

Blacka's Journey on Tour

Blacka's early tours with New Kingston helped him learn about life on the road. In 2010, New Kingston began touring with Collie Buddz, and Blacka went along. Blacka sold merchandise and danced with New Kingston. He hoped to eventually perform with Collie Buddz.

He even showed Collie how to dance, which the audience loved. After a few shows, Blacka officially became a dancer on tour with Collie Buddz.
