Where is Blaine Located?
Blaine is in the northern part of Burnett County. It shares borders with Washburn County to the east and Douglas County to the north. To the west, it borders Pine County, Minnesota in the state of Minnesota.
Rivers Flowing Through Blaine
Several important rivers flow through the town:
- The St. Croix River runs from the northeast to the southwest. It forms part of the border with Minnesota.
- The Namekagon River enters Blaine from the southeast. It then joins the St. Croix River in the southern part of the town.
- The Totagatic River comes into Blaine from the east. It meets the Namekagon River about three miles from the town's eastern edge.
