History of Bock
Bock got its start a long time ago, in 1892. That's when a post office was opened in the area. The people who worked for the railroad decided to give the town its name.

Bock is located in the southeastern part of Mille Lacs County. It's about 5 miles (8 kilometers) northeast of Milaca, which is the main town and county seat.
Bock's Landscape
The city of Bock covers a total area of about 0.17 square miles (0.43 square kilometers). All of this area is land. Bock sits on high ground. It is located between two small streams: Bogus Brook to the east and a branch of Vondell Brook to the west. Both of these streams flow south into the Rum River. The Rum River then flows into the famous Mississippi River.
