Bonice facts for kids
BonIce is a super popular brand of frozen treats, kind of like a flavored ice pop in a tube! It's owned by a company called Quala, which is a big company from Colombia.
BonIce first came to Mexico City in August 2004. It quickly became popular and spread to many other cities in Mexico, like Guadalajara and Monterrey. Later, it even went to Brazil around 2011, where it was called "Icegurt".
Today, you can find BonIce in over a hundred cities all across Mexico and in other Central American countries too. You usually buy BonIce from friendly sellers on the streets, often called "Hombre de Bonice" (which means "Bonice Guy"). These sellers are part of a special system that helps them sell the treats directly to you.
