Bradley Jerrill Marquez (born December 14, 1992) is an American who used to play professional football as a wide receiver. He also played baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Mets. Bradley played college football at Texas Tech.

Early Life and Sports
Bradley Marquez grew up in Odessa, Texas. He was a talented athlete at Odessa High School. He played football, ran track, and played baseball.
High School Football Star
In football, Bradley played as a running back. He was considered a top player by experts like Scout.com and PrepStar College Recruiting. His father, Brad Givens, also played football for Odessa High.
As a sophomore, Bradley ran for 1,743 yards and scored 21 touchdowns. He was named to the Associated Press All-State 2nd Team. In his senior year, he ran for 2,210 yards and 29 touchdowns. This made him the school's all-time leading rusher.
Baseball and College Choices
Besides football, Bradley also played baseball as a shortstop. The New York Mets baseball team drafted him in 2011.
Bradley chose to accept a scholarship to play football at Texas Tech. He had offers from other schools, including the Oklahoma Sooners.
College Sports Career
Bradley Marquez made a special deal to play two sports in college. He attended Texas Tech for football and played baseball for the Kingsport Mets in the spring. He gave up some of his baseball signing bonus to play both sports.
Football at Texas Tech
In his first year (2011), Bradley played in all 12 football games. He caught his first touchdown pass in the season opener against Texas State. He was the first freshman wide receiver to do this for Texas Tech in 17 years. He finished the season with 25 catches for 240 yards and one touchdown.
In 2012, Bradley played in 6 games before a knee injury ended his season. He still earned Academic All-Big 12 Conference 1st Team honors for his good grades.
His junior year in 2013 was very successful. He started all 13 games. He had his first game with over 100 receiving yards against Iowa State. He ended the season with 49 catches, 633 receiving yards, and six touchdowns. He again earned Academic All-Big 12 Conference 1st Team honors.
Before his senior season in 2014, Bradley decided to focus only on football. He did not play minor league baseball that summer.
Return to Baseball
In March 2019, Bradley returned to play baseball for the Mets' minor league team. He was assigned to the Columbia Fireflies in April. This was his first baseball game since July 2013.
Professional Football Career
St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams
After college, Bradley Marquez was not chosen in the 2015 NFL draft. However, he signed with the St. Louis Rams. As a rookie, he played in all 16 games. He caught 13 passes for 88 yards and helped on special teams with 11 tackles.
In 2016, he played in 14 games for the Rams, who had moved to Los Angeles. He caught 3 passes for 37 yards before an injury ended his season in December. He was later released by the Rams in November 2017.
Detroit Lions
On November 10, 2017, Bradley joined the Detroit Lions' practice squad. He was later moved to the main team on November 27, 2017. He was released by the Lions in September 2018.
