- Brissette Beach is a lovely spot near the Saginaw Bay shoreline and Tobico Marshes. It's about 587 feet (179 meters) above sea level.
- Linwood is a community right on the edge of the township, next to Fraser Township.
- Linwood Beach is another community found near Cottage Grove Road and Linwood Beach Road, also close to the Saginaw Bay shoreline. It's about 584 feet (178 meters) high.
- Three Churches Corner is located off Interstate 75 where Fraser and Beaver roads meet. This area is about 607 feet (185 meters) above sea level.
It's interesting to know that the community named Kawkawlin isn't actually inside Kawkawlin Township! It's just south of the Kawkawlin River and the township's border, in Monitor Township.
