Bruno Campos (born December 3, 1973) is a Brazilian lawyer and a former actor. He first appeared in the Brazilian movie O Quatrilho in 1995, which was nominated for an Academy Award. He is well-known for his roles in American TV shows. These include Diego Vasquez in Jesse (1998–2000) and Dr. Quentin Costa in Nip/Tuck (2004–2005). He also famously voiced Prince Naveen in the Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog (2009). In 2010, Bruno went to law school and became a lawyer in 2013. He now works for a law firm called Covington & Burling.

Early Life and Education
Bruno Campos was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on December 3, 1973. His father, Paulo Campos, worked for a bank and was a real estate lawyer. His mother, Thania Campos, was an actress. Bruno is the third of four children.
When he was five, Bruno and his family left Brazil. They lived in different countries like Canada, Bahrain, and the United States because of his father's job. When Bruno was fourteen, his family moved back to Brazil. However, Bruno decided to stay in the U.S. to finish school. At that time, he could barely speak Portuguese and didn't know much about Brazilian culture. His parents later divorced.
Bruno started acting at a private arts school in Toronto when he was nine years old. By age thirteen, he played Prince Charming in a school play of Cinderella.
At seventeen, he attended the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. He then studied drama at Northwestern University, near Chicago. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1995.
Acting Career Highlights
In 1995, Bruno Campos made his first movie appearance in the Brazilian film O Quatrilho. This movie was directed by Fábio Barreto and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In the same year, he played the main male role in William Shakespeare's play All's Well That Ends Well. This play was directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman in Chicago. In 1997, he was in the CBS miniseries The Last Don, which was based on a book by Mario Puzo.
Bruno became more recognized in America for his roles in TV shows. He played Diego in the NBC sitcom Jesse, which starred Christina Applegate. He also played lawyer Joe Rivera in the Showtime series Leap Years. He had a recurring role as Dr. Eddie Dorset on the medical drama ER.
In 2004, he joined the cast of the FX medical drama Nip/Tuck. He played a plastic surgeon named Quentin Costa. Later, it was revealed that his character was also The Carver, one of the main bad guys in the show's third season. In 2006, he was a guest star in an episode of Cold Case.
In 2009, Bruno appeared as a guest star in the TV series Numb3rs and Castle. That same year, he lent his voice to the character of Prince Naveen in the Disney animated movie The Princess and the Frog. This movie was nominated for three Academy Awards. He voiced Prince Naveen again in the 2011 video game Kinect: Disneyland Adventures. In 2022, he returned to voice Prince Naveen for the theme park ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.
In 2010, he made guest appearances on several TV shows. These included the supernatural series Ghost Whisperer and the medical drama Private Practice. He also had a recurring role in the first season of Royal Pains, playing Charlie Casey. His last acting role was in the police series The Closer in 2010.
Legal Career
In the early 2010s, Bruno Campos decided to stop acting in TV and movies. He enrolled in law school at the University of Michigan. He earned his law degree (called a J.D.) in 2013. While in law school, he worked as an intern for Judge Avern Cohn.
After graduating, he passed the bar exam in New York. This allowed him to become a licensed lawyer. He worked for a law firm called Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. His work there involved helping with "complex insurance recovery matters." This means he helped people or companies get money from insurance companies. He also helped solve disputes in courts and through special meetings called arbitrations. As of 2024, he works for the law firm Covington & Burling.
Personal Life
From 1997 to 1999, Bruno Campos was in a relationship with actress Paula Marshall. They met while working on the TV show Chicago Sons. In 2000, Bruno married a psychologist named Karina. They have two children together.
