Bryan Kehl (born June 16, 1984) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker, a defensive position. Bryan was chosen by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft. Before joining the NFL, he played college football at Brigham Young University (BYU).
He also played for other NFL teams. These included the St. Louis Rams, Washington Redskins, and Kansas City Chiefs.

Bryan Kehl's Early Life and Family
Bryan Kehl was born on June 16, 1984. He was adopted by Gary and Nancy Kehl, who raised him.
Bryan has strong football connections in his family. His biological father, Maurice Turner, was also a professional football player. Maurice played as a running back in the NFL. Bryan's half-brother, Billy Turner, is also an NFL player. Billy plays as an offensive tackle for the New York Jets.
College Football Journey at BYU
Bryan Kehl had many choices for college football. Top schools like Utah, Oregon, and Harvard wanted him. He decided to play for Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2002. He studied mechanical engineering and business there.
In his first year, Bryan played as a reserve linebacker. He recorded 14 tackles in 11 games. After this year, he took a break from school and football. He served a two-year mission for his church in Toronto.
When he returned in 2005, Bryan played in 11 games again. He made 30 tackles that season. Four of these tackles were in the Las Vegas Bowl game. He also blocked a punt, which helped BYU score points.
In 2006, Bryan became a starting weakside linebacker for BYU. He was third on his team with 70 tackles. He also had three sacks and helped break up six passes. He earned honors for his play and academics.
His senior year in 2007 was very successful. Bryan was named the team's defensive MVP. He was also one of the team captains. He made a career-high 91 tackles. He also caused and recovered a fumble. Bryan intercepted passes in three games in a row. One of these interceptions he returned for a touchdown!

Bryan Kehl began his professional career in 2008.
New York Giants (2008–2010)
The New York Giants picked Bryan in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He was the 123rd player chosen overall. He started his first NFL game on October 26, 2008. In that game, he got his first NFL interception. He caught a pass from Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Bryan played for the Giants until September 2010.
St. Louis Rams (2010–2011)
After leaving the Giants, Bryan joined the St. Louis Rams. He was picked up by the Rams on September 15, 2010. He played for them through the 2011 season.
Washington Redskins (2012)
In April 2012, Bryan signed with the Washington Redskins. He changed his position to an inside linebacker for their defense. He played as a backup player. However, he was released by the team before the 2012 season officially started.
Kansas City Chiefs (2012)
Bryan signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2012. He played in only three games for the team. He was released by the Chiefs in November 2012.
Return to Washington Redskins (2012–2013)
Bryan returned to the Washington Redskins in November 2012. He signed another one-year contract with them in March 2013. During a game against the Dallas Cowboys, he got a serious knee injury. He tore his ACL, which ended his season.
