One of his notable wins was against Stipe Miocic, who later became a champion in UFC (a mixed martial arts sport). In 2009, Bryant reached the finals of the National Golden Gloves tournament, which is a big competition for amateur boxers. He lost that final match to a more experienced boxer named Lenroy Thompson.

Becoming a Professional Boxer

He beat Jon Bolden and even had a rematch with Zeferino Albino, knocking him out in the first round this time. He continued to win all his fights in 2010 and 2011.

Winning Early Titles

Later that year, on March 24, 2012, he faced Siarhei Liakhovich, a former world heavyweight champion. Bryant used his strong jabs and powerful punches to control the fight. Liakhovich stopped fighting after the ninth round, giving Bryant a big win.

On June 16, 2012, Bryant fought Steve Collins and won by a unanimous decision. This victory earned him the USBA heavyweight title. He kept winning, knocking out Chris Koval very quickly and then stopping Bowie Tupou to keep his USBA title.

In 2013, Bryant continued his winning streak by stopping Andrey Fedosov in the sixth round.

Big Fights and Title Shots
