Bryce Perkins was born on December 20, 1996. He is an American professional football quarterback. He currently plays for the Michigan Panthers in the United Football League (UFL).
Bryce played college football at three different schools: Arizona State, Arizona Western, and Virginia. After college, he joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2020.

Bryce Perkins' Early Life
Bryce Perkins grew up in Chandler, Arizona. He went to Chandler High School. In his final year, he helped his team win their first state championship since 1949.
During his high school career, Bryce threw for over 5,300 yards. He also scored 70 touchdowns by passing and 26 by running. After high school, he decided to play college football at Arizona State University.

Playing for Arizona State
Bryce started his college career at Arizona State in 2015. He took a "redshirt" year, which means he practiced but didn't play in games. This allowed him to gain experience without using up a year of eligibility. In 2016, he couldn't play because of a broken neck injury.
Time at Arizona Western College
In 2017, Bryce moved to Arizona Western College. He played one season there. He passed for 1,311 yards and scored seven touchdowns. He also ran for 353 yards and four touchdowns.
Becoming a Star at Virginia
In 2018, Bryce transferred to the University of Virginia. He quickly became the team's starting quarterback. He played in all 13 games that season. He set a school record for total offense with 3,603 yards and 34 touchdowns.
He completed 225 passes for 2,680 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also ran for 923 yards and nine touchdowns. Bryce returned as the starting quarterback for the 2019 season. In 2019, he played in all 14 games. He threw for 3,540 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also ran for 769 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Bryce Perkins' Professional Career
Joining the Los Angeles Rams
Bryce Perkins joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2020. He signed with them as an undrafted free agent. This means he wasn't chosen in the NFL Draft but was signed afterward. He was part of the Rams' practice squad for a while.
In 2021, the Rams won Super Bowl LVI. Bryce was part of the team and received a Super Bowl ring. He made his first NFL appearance in 2022. He played in a few games when the main quarterbacks were injured. On November 27, 2022, he threw his first professional touchdown pass.
Playing for the Michigan Panthers
On April 24, 2024, Bryce signed with the Michigan Panthers in the United Football League (UFL). He was placed on injured reserve for a short time but re-signed with the team later that year.
In 2025, Bryce had a fantastic season. He made his UFL debut in Week 1, leading the Panthers to a 26–12 win. He completed 16 of 19 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown. He continued to play well, earning "UFL Offensive Player of the Week" awards multiple times.
At the end of the 2025 regular season, Bryce was named to the All-UFL team. On June 10, 2025, he was named the UFL's Offensive Player of the Year. Just three days later, Bryce Perkins was also named the UFL MVP (Most Valuable Player).
Bryce Perkins' Family Life
Bryce comes from a family of football players. His father, Bruce Perkins, played fullback at Arizona State. He also played briefly in the NFL.
His uncle, Don Perkins, was a running back for the Dallas Cowboys for eight seasons. Bryce's older brother, Paul Perkins, also played as a running back in the NFL.
