Bullard Mountain is a mountain in Alaska, United States. It stands about 4,225 feet (1,288 meters) tall. This peak is part of the Boundary Ranges in the Coast Mountains.

You can find Bullard Mountain just east of the end of the Mendenhall Glacier. It is inside the huge Tongass National Forest. The mountain is about 9 miles (14 km) north-northwest of Juneau. It is also about 6 miles (10 km) northeast of the Juneau International Airport.

Bullard Mountain is often seen with Mount Wrather. Mount Wrather is a taller mountain, about 5,968 feet (1,819 meters) high. These two mountains create a beautiful background for Mendenhall Lake. This lake is a very popular spot for tourists and outdoor fun.

Even though Bullard Mountain is not super tall, it rises sharply from the lake. This means it looks very impressive! Water from the mountain flows into the lake through Nugget Creek and Nugget Falls. The mountain is named after Benjamin Bullard (1848-1933). He was a mining engineer who started mining on Nugget Creek in 1907. He later built a power plant there.

Temperatures can drop very low, sometimes below −4 °F (−20 °C). With the wind, it can feel even colder, below −22 °F (−30 °C). This cold climate helps keep the Mendenhall Glacier frozen. The best time to visit or climb Bullard Mountain is in July. The weather is usually the nicest then.
