Building Factories in Ireland
Cadbury Ireland built its very first factory in Dublin in 1933. It was on Ossory Road. Back then, they only made and sold three different products!
Later, in 1964, the company moved to its current, bigger location in Coolock. This is where their main office is today.
In 1948, Cadbury also built a special factory in Rathmore, County Kerry. This factory makes "chocolate crumb," which is a key ingredient for many Cadbury chocolates. Rathmore is about 20 miles from the town of Killarney.
