Casey J. Printers (born May 16, 1981) is an American former professional football quarterback. He played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He also played college football at TCU and Florida A&M.

Early Life and Football Beginnings
Casey Printers was born in DeSoto, Texas. He started playing football when he was very young. A big moment for him was going to the Pop Warner National Championship. This happened in San Francisco, California when he was twelve years old. His team was called the Oak Cliff Jets.
College Football Journey
Casey Printers played college football at Texas Christian University (TCU) from 1999 to 2001. He helped the TCU Horn Frogs win two Western Athletic Conference championships. These wins were in 1999 and 2000. He also led them to three bowl games.

Professional Football Career
After college, Casey Printers joined the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2003. He signed a three-year contract.
First Time with the BC Lions (2003–2005)
In his first year (2003), Printers did not play much. But in the 2004 season, he became the starting quarterback. This happened after the main starter, Dave Dickenson, got injured. Printers had an amazing season.

- He also ran for 469 yards and 9 touchdowns.
- He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2004 season.
- He was known for being a dynamic player. He could make big plays by both passing and running.

In the 2004 playoffs, Printers got a shoulder injury. Dave Dickenson finished the game. The Lions won and went to the Grey Cup game. They lost the Grey Cup to the Toronto Argonauts.
In 2005, Printers had surgery on his foot. He also had some disagreements about who should be the starting quarterback. He played less that season due to injuries and competition. In January 2006, he decided to leave the CFL. He signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL).
Time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2006–2007)
Printers joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2006. He hoped to earn a backup quarterback spot. He played in some preseason games. He was later signed to the Chiefs' practice squad. This is a group of players who practice with the team but are not on the main roster. He was briefly promoted to the main roster.
In September 2007, the Chiefs released Casey Printers. This meant he was no longer on their team.
Playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2007–2009)
After leaving the Chiefs, Printers signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL. He joined them in September 2007. He was reportedly the highest-paid player in the CFL at that time. However, he had a tough time with the Tiger-Cats. He threw more interceptions than touchdowns. He was released by the team in February 2009.
Second Time with the BC Lions (2009–2010)
In June 2009, Casey Printers said he wanted to return to the BC Lions. He rejoined the team's practice squad in September 2009. He became the starting quarterback again in October.
In October 2010, he played in a memorable overtime game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Lions lost this game. Printers was released from the team shortly after.
Indoor Football with the Allen Wranglers (2012)
In 2012, Casey Printers signed with the Allen Wranglers. This team played in the Indoor Football League. He made his debut with them in February 2012. He scored a rushing touchdown in his first game.
Career Highlights and Records
Casey Printers set a CFL record for the highest completion percentage in a single game. This happened on August 13, 2004, against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He completed 20 out of 22 passes (90.9%). He threw for 303 yards and four touchdowns. This record has since been broken.
He also helped his teammate, Geroy Simon, have an amazing 2004 season. Simon had a league-best 14 touchdown receptions and 1750 receiving yards. This broke the Lions' club record for receiving yards in a season.
