Cassils facts for kids
Cassils is a small community called a hamlet. It is found in southern Alberta, Canada. This hamlet is part of the County of Newell.
Cassils is located near important travel routes. It sits on the north side of a Canadian Pacific train track. This is about 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles) west of where Highway 36 and Highway 542 meet.
The hamlet is also about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) west of the city of Brooks. It is 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) south of the Trans-Canada Highway (which is also known as Highway 1).

The name Cassils comes from a person named Charles Cassils. He was a businessperson from Montreal. Communities are often named after important people or places nearby.
