Playing the Game: Your Adventure Begins!
The main goal in Castle of Dr. Brain is to become the mad scientist's new assistant. Dr. Brain placed an advertisement looking for someone smart. To get the job, you must solve all the tricky puzzles he has set up inside his castle.
Entering the Castle
Your adventure starts right at the castle gate. Here, you need to play a special memory game. If you win, the gate opens, and you can go inside.
Puzzles Inside the Castle
Once you are inside, you will find many puzzles in the hallways and rooms. These puzzles test different skills and knowledge.
- Brainy Challenges: Many puzzles need good mathematics and logic skills. You might have to solve math problems or figure out tricky logical sequences.
- Word and Space Puzzles: One puzzle asks you to solve a cryptogram. This is like a secret code where letters are swapped. Another big puzzle near the end of the game is all about astronomy. You will need to know about stars, planets, and space.
- Surreal Rooms: In one very unusual part of the castle, you have to put together a jigsaw puzzle. When you finish it, the puzzle becomes a real room! You then walk through this room to get to the next level.
- Elevator Mazes: There are also three mazes in the game. In these mazes, you guide an elevator between different floors. You need to find the right path to move forward.
How to Play
Castle of Dr. Brain uses a simple point-and-click style of play. You use your mouse to click on objects and solve puzzles.
- Difficulty Levels: You can choose from three different difficulty levels. The best part is you can change the difficulty at any time during the game!
- Helpful Pointers: Your mouse pointer can be either a hand or an eye.
- The hand lets you interact with puzzles and objects.
- The eye gives you information about things you click on. Sometimes, the eye will even give you clues to help solve a puzzle! If you click on something that is not a puzzle, the eye often gives a funny joke.
- Hint Coins: As you solve puzzles, you earn special "Hint Coins." If you get stuck on a puzzle, you can use these coins to get some help.
