Cedarvale Winery is a special farm in Logan Township, New Jersey. It started as a family farm growing fruits and vegetables way back in 1905! Later, in 2004, they began planting special grapes. By 2008, they opened their doors to visitors.
The farm has about 8 acres of land where they grow grapes. They also produce a lot of their special drinks each year. The name "Cedarvale" comes from the cedar swamps that are right next to the farm. It's a cool way to remember the natural surroundings!
What Cedarvale Grows and Makes
Cedarvale Winery grows different kinds of grapes. These include Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot gris, and Villard blanc grapes. They use these grapes to make their drinks.
But that's not all! Cedarvale also makes special fruit drinks. They use yummy apples, juicy blueberries, sweet nectarines, and ripe strawberries. Besides drinks, the farm still grows fresh fruits and vegetables for everyone to enjoy.
Being Part of a Group
Cedarvale Winery follows important rules to make sure their products are safe and good. They have a special permit that allows them to make their drinks and sell them. This permit also lets them have places where people can buy their products.
The winery is also a member of a group called the Garden State Wine Growers Association. This group helps farms like Cedarvale share ideas and grow the best fruits and vegetables in New Jersey.
