Central Lakes is located in the northeastern part of Minnesota. It sits about 17 miles (27 km) south of a city called Virginia. You can find it right where U.S. Highway 53 and Saint Louis County Road 93 meet.
This community is also about 45 miles (72 km) north of the bigger city of Duluth. If you are driving on Highway 53, Central Lakes is located between the towns of Cotton and Eveleth.
