Chester railway station is a busy train station in the city of Chester, England. It's located in the Newtown area of Cheshire. This station is a key hub for many train journeys.

For many years, from 1875 to 1969, the station had a different name. It was called Chester General. This helped people tell it apart from another station in Chester, which is now closed.
