Choi Chung-min (Hangul: 최정민; Hanja: 崔貞敏; born August 30, 1930 – died August 8, 1983) was a famous football player and manager from South Korea. People called him the "Golden Legs" because he was an amazing striker. Many thought he was one of Asia's best football players in the 1950s.

Early Life and Career Start
Choi Chung-min was born in a place called Taedong. He grew up in Pyongyang, which is now the capital city of North Korea. During the Korean War, he moved to the southern part of Korea. After the war, he joined the Korea Army Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC). He played for the CIC's football team and also for the South Korea national football team starting in 1952.

Choi Chung-min played a big part in South Korea's football history.
World Cup Qualifiers
In 1954, South Korea traveled to Japan to play important matches. These games were to decide which team would go to the 1954 FIFA World Cup. The South Korean team felt a lot of pressure. This was because Japan had ruled Korea until 1945, and people really wanted their team to win. Choi scored three goals in these two matches. South Korea won against Japan with a total score of 7–3 and made it to the World Cup!
World Cup Experience
Even though they qualified, the 1954 FIFA World Cup was tough for South Korea. Choi and his team played against very strong teams like Hungary and Turkey. They were not able to win those matches.

Choi Chung-min won many awards and championships during his football career.

While playing for the ROK Army CIC team, Choi helped them win several national titles:
- Korean National Championship: 1957, 1959
- Korean President's Cup: 1952, 1953, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1961
International Honours
Playing for South Korea, he also achieved great success:
- AFC Asian Cup: He helped South Korea win the Asian Cup twice, in 1956 and 1960.
- Asian Games silver medal: His team won silver medals at the Asian Games in 1954 and 1958.
