Cinco Bayou is a small town in Okaloosa County, Florida, in the United States. It is part of the larger area that includes Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin. In 2020, the town had a population of 457 people. This was an increase from 383 people in 2010.

History of Cinco Bayou
Cinco Bayou officially became a town on July 3, 1950. About 60 people attended a meeting at the Cinco Bayou garage to make this happen. At that meeting, Gordon Gibson was chosen as the town's first mayor. Back then, about 250 people lived in the area. This area was located between the city limits of Fort Walton and a narrow body of water called Cinco Bayou. This water body is on the west side of Choctawhatchee Bay.

According to official records, the town covers a total area of about 0.2 square miles (0.45 square kilometers). All of this area is land. The town is completely surrounded by the city of Fort Walton Beach.
