Cipriano Muñoz y Manzano (born October 3, 1862, in Zaragoza, Spain – died November 24, 1933, in Biarritz, France) was an important Spanish diplomat and scholar. He was also known as the 2nd Count of la Viñaza. He worked as a representative in the Spanish Congress and wrote many books about languages, literature, and art.

Biography
Cipriano Muñoz y Manzano was the son of Cipriano Muñoz y Ostaled. His father was the first Count of La Viñaza. This special title was given to his father in 1871 by King Amadeo I of Spain.
Education and Early Career
Cipriano studied Law and Philosophy at Zaragoza University. He later earned a special degree called a Doctoral degree in Philosophy from the University of Madrid.
From 1891 to 1896, Muñoz served as a deputy in the Spanish Congress. This meant he was a representative for the area of Ejea de los Caballeros in Zaragoza.
Diplomatic and Academic Roles
Later in his career, he became a Spanish Ambassador. He represented Spain in both Russia and Italy. He also became a Senator for the province of Huesca. In 1910, he received the high honor of being named a grandee of Spain.
In 1895, when he was 33 years old, Cipriano Muñoz became a member of the Royal Spanish Academy. This is a very important group that studies the Spanish language. He gave a speech about funny political poems in Spanish literature when he joined. He was also a member of the Royal Spanish Academy of History. For this academy, he spoke about the people who wrote down the history of the Kingdom of Aragon.
Awards and Recognition
Muñoz received many awards from different countries. He was given the Great Cross with Diamonds from the Russian Order of Saint Alexander Nevsky. He also received honors from Portugal, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Peru, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
Cipriano Muñoz y Manzano passed away in Biarritz, France, when he was 71 years old.
